A clean replacement for industrial toothpaste

A simple white powder. Bentonite clay, baking soda, salt and a small amount of peppermint and clove. Wet the brush, dip, brush.

Ingredients

Bentonite clay, baking soda, fine sea salt, peppermint leaf (Mentha × piperita), clove (Syzygium aromaticum).

How to use

Wet your toothbrush. Dip into the powder. Brush as normal. Spit, rinse.

Notes on tooth powder.

I made this because almost every commercial toothpaste contains either fluoride, glycerin, or sodium lauryl sulfate. I don't object to fluoride medically but a lot of customers want to avoid the other two.

The clay polishes. The baking soda neutralizes acid. The peppermint and clove make it taste like something you'd want to put in your mouth.
